Established in 2004, Hummingbird Music will offer an equally passionate, inspirational and innovative sanctuary for talented artists across all musical genres. In pioneering their new artist-friendly label and music production company, founders Tan Chang and Lupo Groinig had one very simple objective. And that's to provide a set of professional musical resources that establishes new creative benchmarks for the music industry in Asia.

Tan Chang
Managing Director
Tan Chang is the founder and brainchild of Hummingbird Music. Born in Hong Kong, and educated in Los Angeles, Australia and Japan. Tan began his career as a co-founder and the Operation Manager of a electronic casino “Mocha Slot Lounge”, shortly after he sold his shares of the company Tan combined his business knowledge with his passion for music and started Hummingbird Music with his good friend and ex music teacher Lupo Groinig. The mission with the label was to create higher standards in music across Asia, and build a platform for striking new talents in the region.
Lupo Groinig
Creative Director
Lupo Groinig is a producer and co-founder of Hummingbird Music. Born and raised in Austria, Lupo began his musical career aged 19 as the lead guitarist for renowned Austrian rock band Fahrenheit. The band produced numerous top ten hits and toured extensively throughout Europe. Residing in Los Angeles since 1993, Lupo has served on the faculty of the prestigious Musician’s Institute in Hollywood for the last nine years lecturing in Guitar and Music Production. Lupo equally has impressive experience as a producer, arranger, songwriter and musical director for artists and clients around the globe. He has performed with multi-platinum and Grammy award winning artists and has worked with the likes of Sony Music, Interscope Records, Miramax Films, Universal Music, Universal Pictures, Warner Brothers and Disney. He co-founded Hummingbird Music with Tan Chang to create a label where artist development is at the forefront.
Roni Li
Marketing Manager
Roni studied Design Management in Leicester in UK and she has extensive experience in the Advertising industry. With her expertise in the marketing and remarkable attention to detail, she has became the core of the Marketing team and she has help to build Hummingbird Music into a even better place for our artists.
Loy Lee

Before joining Hummingbird Music, Loy worked freelanced as a web developer, a project manager for a lighting company and was a croupier in a casino. A keen traveller, he has travelled South East Asia and Australia, where he worked in timber mills and mango farms. All these unique experiences made him the perfect fit at Hummingbird Music. We appreciate him not only for his creativity and amazing problem solving skill, but also for his always objective point of views, and of course his forever calm attitude whenever work hits us like a Tsunami.
Sara Ng
China Online Promotions
Sara is the first member of the Hummingbird Music that is born and raised in Mainland China, her in depth understand of chinese culture and multilingual skill makes her the perfect fit in the internet promotion team. After graduated in the Masters of International Journalism at Hong Kong’s Baptist University Sara has worked in numerous industry, but her love for music has led her into joining Hummingbird Music team after all. Sara is the key person in bring all content created by Hummingbird Music into the Greater China social network.
Felix Tang
China Development
Felix is the engineer behind Hummingbird’s China expansion. He is an eminent veteran of the Hong Kong Chinese Music industry and has worked with numerous Hong Kong labels with ample experience of this region. In the last ten years, Felix has spent most of his time in China to explore the new emerging market and since then he’s built an vast network in China.

Graduate of Music Business from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Angel was born in Hong Kong and spent most of her teenage years in Vancouver where she discovers her passion for music. With her colorful background and relentless fixation to contribute to the music scene, Angel will help Hummingbird Music to open a new page in the overseas market.

If Tan and Lupo are the foundation of Hummingbird Music, Flora would be the pillar of the structure. She is the Chief Accountant and handles all of the financial and accounting work of the company, assuring a rapid and sound development for Hummingbird Music.
